This One is for the Birds - Birdhouse Contest


Hey Kids, Shell Busey wants to see the creative carpenter in you!

Have the kids design and build their very own birdhouse and send us a photo or two, along with the completed entry form. Include your age, the city or town you live in and tell us about the special characteristics of your birdhouse design.

  • All entries received will be on display at this year's Cloverdale Rodeo and County Fair, May 16th-19th in Cloverdale B.C. in the HouseSmart Country Pavilion. Visitors to the rodeo will vote for their favorite birdhouse and winners will be chosen according to selected age groups. Winners will be announced on the Home Discovery Show and receive a signed Children's Tool Belt and other various prizes.

    Contest Rules:
    • Birdhouses must be of original design (no kits please.)
    • All entries must be received no later than April 30th 2008.
    • Contest is open to Kids age 16 and under.

    • Children must receive help or supervision from a parent when using power tools, saws or other dangerous tools.
